While near to a wood pile, "Take Wood" text will appear on the screen or in the actions menu.

This can also define players, if someone got a lot of medical supplies maybe he will decide to become a medic in game.
Also this can solve the problem of people who want to spawn with a gun, and its realistic feature.
By doing it they can show other players that they are friendly, etc.
Currently, salute is the only animation available, its halts the player and its takes long time to play this animation.
All this animations "breaks" player move, in DayZ it can be very dangerous,
When player stops to switch weapons he can easly get hit by zombie or by other player, in real life, people can switch to pistol witout stopping.

This can be really good system for trading.
If system will record player spawn position and on each death it will check if player was alive for more then 60 minutes, if yes only then it will spawn him on next random spawn location.
May be abused by spawn killers, to prevent it, make player respawn at the same location and not at the same spot, for example, if player spawned at Kamenka, he will respawn anywhere at Kamenka.
Hopefully we'll see more maps in the future but for now I added Chernarus(official) and Lingor Island(community made map).

The easiest and the best solution for now is to remove the dead soldiers from the map.
Its doesn't add too much to the game atmosphere its brings artifacts instead.

Can be useful to prevent friendly fire in some cases...
For example if player kills all the zombies in small town, there is no more zombies until they "come", so he got couple of minutes before the new zombies "arrives".
To save server resources and DB, only the Coyote backpack and maybe the Alice pack should be savable.
Player can drop his backpack somewhere and he will have option to save it, rest will work same as its works with tents, but everyone will have the option to pick it up, when picked up, remove it from the DB.
Same as the helicopter crash sites, Such as:
-Dead soldier bodies at some random locations which will have loot.
-Destroyed convoy of military or/and medical supplies.
-Zombies that will spawn in the woods near to players.
-Some "supernatural" things such as hallucinations.
This is some rough ideas to explain the main idea.
More random events to make it much interesting and make players wonder "what the hell happen?".
First thing is to create internet based system where each player will be able to create page for his character and clan.
Player will have diary, map and some other stuff.
When player open the map by pressing 'M' key, there is a menu at the top left corner.
Adding a new menu to it to open in-game browser window to show anything related to DayZ, such as diary, team map etc.
All this things will open web site with player info in the game, same as when you open map view, but there will be web site.
This is the basic idea.
So working one should exist too.
Only the basic HMMWV without any attached weapons.
To repair it, players will need all the basic vehicle parts but different engine which will be very rare, and hard to find and will take more slots, or different hard to find wheels.
This will make it harder to repair, and more realistic.
Also if player will be able to interact with the game world and move stuff, to build bases and camps.
-player can find ammo box, it will take 6 inventory slots, when placed, it will work like tent, but it will not require flat ground without any objects nearby, will have less slots then tent.

This will let us build better bases and if players will finally build survivor camp, this feature can be very useful.
There should be more scary stuff, first of all the forests! should be scary, specially at night.
I suggest that server admin will have the option to choose 1 of for example 10 different location on the map to setup survivor camp
There should be a camp "template", this template will include all the walls, buildings and fences.
For example, something like this, of course much smaller then this one.
After picking one desired location, the base will appear there, this will use the camp template to set up the camp.
Also admins will be able to setup server without base.
It makes zero sense to me that a magazine that is loaded into my current gun takes up a slot in my inventory.
It isn't in my inventory, it's in my gun.
I think it would be great if instead of it taking up a slot, it goes into your gun.
Then maybe the gun has a green bar next to it to show it's load, and you can right click on the gun and say 'remove clip' or something.
Adding this map to DayZ will make it even better.
Players will be able to choose where to play, or they will have to somehow unlock this map, for example by flying there.
It will be more interesting if every new feature will be presented by short Youtube video.
this will be even more interesting if no other info will be posted about the feature at first, only the video.
If radio communication feature will be added in the next patch, we will have short video where group of survivors set up communication tower and all the required stuff to transmit, they hear only noise at first but then after couple of calls, we will see how other survivor, somewhere, walks near dead policeman zombie, he hear the radio call (dead policeman zombie has the radio), then he pick it up and answer the call.
Dogs: survivor walks somewhere in the wilderness or woods, then he hear *woof* *woof* he stops and see dog in the woods he throw meat and dogs goes with him...
or if female zombies added to DayZ, then we will have short video about how 2 survivors walk somewhere they hear female crazy shout and then wild female zombie appears from the woods or something.
This is not very important suggestion and has nothing to do with the game play itself but it will be very original and interesting.
At least this can be added to the standalone game...
Dev team probably will not have the time to do it, but maybe DayZ fans who create DayZ videos will help them and create this short videos.
Its flips over even on straight road, so this function should be added.
Also the ATV bugs should be fixed.
When disassembled it will be added to the inventory, or will drop on the ground if there is not enough room.

Also when they got hit they shout "fuck", "oh" etc. this isn't a big issue but if it possible to change their shout into something from zombie language it would be great.

Use weapon to bludgeon zombies and players
One solution for this is to be able to switch to pilot sit on the fly.
It will move in both directions.
Automated train suggested, but it will be better if it will be controlled by survivors.
But the problem is when we encounter other player, in most cases, we have only two options: killing or being killed.
If there will be some kind of non-lethal weapons (such as Taser, tranquilizer gun etc.) it will help friendly players who don't want blood on their hands.
Shooting someone with this weapon will cause him to pass out for defined time (for example 1 min), no damage.
The shooter will be able to loot unconscious player, disarm him and drag his body, also option to handcuff and kidnap him (if this feature will exist in DayZ).
Also, shooting player's (right) arm (with any weapon), will brake it and he will be unable to shoot or use any weapon.
If fishing without the fishing rod player will have to get into the water and it will play the medic animation and there will be 50/50 chance to catch fish.
One fish will recover up to 400 blood.
Assuming that zombies would have on them whatever there victims were carying on there person (excluding what they were holding) zombies would have more interesting items on them than they do now.
In fact the best place to get some items would be off the corpse of a zombie.
As long as players hold the cleared town, zombies will spawn outside the town and will try to get into the town as they smell that there is fresh survivors meat there.
If town lost (no players in it or too much zombies got into it) zombies will start to spawn in the town as regular.
This will probably require new zombie spawn and behavior system.
New loot will not spawn in the captured town, but the zombies that will attack it will have more loot then regular.
With this option, player will also have action menu command to see what is his name.
Player name will be shown on the screen.
Preferably, player name including clan tag.
